On Friday past, we met the Property Estate manager along with an architect with a view to having the roof examined. I suspect that the time will soon come for fairly major work to take place, but I am awaiting a full survey of the roof.

At the same time, it is apparent that we have a major infestation of pigeons in the tower. This is not proving so easy to deal with. One company declined the work whilst another declared on opening the tower that it is a public health issue. I am actively working to secure a contractor to remedy the situation.

I do not expect that either of these projects will be cheap.
